December 17, 2016: A concert of music from around the world as we affirm our commitment to decency, civil rights, and our common humanity, held at the Washington Ethical Society. Ezuz and Sierra Leone's Refugee Allstars bands played joyful, unique and powerful music. Sabir Rahman spoke for the Interfaith Community.
Musical Traditions of Pakistan
JANUARY 30, 2016: The Pakistani American Association in colloboration with the Academy of Indian Music and Fine Arts presented the "Musical Traditions of Pakistan."
Farhan Choudhary and Nirvan Sengupta and many other local artists showcased sitar recital, ghazals, songs, and Poetry.
Art Without Borders
December 4, 2016: Exhibition by Jewish and Muslim artists (JAMmARTt) who, over a two-year period, shared food, reflection, and traditions with one another to create a 3-dimensional work of art that honors and celebrates Judaism and Islam.
